On arrival in Zanzibar meet and greet with our driver at the Airport, transfer to Double Tree Hotel www.doubletreehotel.com (in stone town) or similar hotel. Check inn for two nights three days on bed and breakfast.
Morning, after breakfast, at 08:00, you will be picked up guided stone town tour. This is a half a day trip where you can visit a historical street constructed from coral stone during the 15th and 16th century. Stone town was declared as world heritage site by UNESCO, with our guide you will walk on the footsteps of Arab Sultans of Zanzibar.Discovery of the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar, visit of the Freddy Mercury House, Presentation of the Zanzibar doors, their roles and significance, former Slave market site. After Lunch, at any Restaurant in stone town at 14:00, leave on our wooden engine boat for Prison island tour. It’s a half a day trip to Prison Island, setting down anchor 5 km away, on the beautiful beach of Prison Island. The prison – which is now owned by a government – was built in 1893 and originally doesn’t work as prison but as a quarantine station, discovery of giant tortoise, ancient prison, and snorkeling around Prison Island. At evening return to the hotel.
After breakfast you will be picked up to airport for your flight.
